This application contains multiple sections. Be sure to fill out all the required fields and upload all supporting documents before submitting.
Section 1: Applicant Information
This section requires your personal information, including name, contact details, and student identification number (if applicable). If you are currently enrolled in college and plan to continue at the same institution, your student ID helps expedite scholarship fund disbursement.
Section 2: Family Information
Provide information about your immediate family, including marital status, household income, and details about your guardians (if applicable).
Section 3: Recipient Education Data
Submit details about your educational background, including:
- Schools you have attended.
- Current status and college classification as of September 1, 2026.
- College, university, or trade school you plan to attend.
- Proposed career path and expected graduation date.
- A copy of your letter of acceptance from the selected institution.
Section 4: Financial Information
Provide the required financial documents:
- Upload your complete Student Aid Report (SAR) from the 2026-2027 FAFSA.
- Indicate your Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
- List any other scholarships or financial aid you have applied for or received.
Section 5: Letters of Recommendation
You must provide two references for letters of recommendation. These references cannot be family members.
- Letters of recommendation must be submitted directly by your references through the SmarterSelect application portal.
- You are responsible for ensuring your references submit their letters through the designated links provided in the application no later than March 14, 2026.
- There are no external forms to download or send back. All documents must be submitted directly through the SmarterSelect application portal.
Section 6: Document Uploads
Upload all required documents, including proof of residency (utility bill or lease agreement). Phone bills are not acceptable. All uploads must be completed through the SmarterSelect platform.
Section 7: Essay
Write a 500–1000 word essay rsponding to one of the two questions below.
- What habits (personal, academic, social and economic) are imperative to a college/trade school student's success?
- As a college/trade school student, what are your short and long term goals and what do you need to learn while you are a student to accomplish those goals?
Section 7: Acknowledgments
Both the applicant and parent/guardian (if the applicant is a minor) must electronically sign the application, confirming the provided information is accurate and complete.
