What our scholars say

I can say that I would not be where I am today without the Girls Service League.

Their support meant so much because they chose to invest in me and believed in my abilities. Today I am a Special Education Teacher at a Middle School and I have enjoyed teaching but have decided to get a master’s in social work…So, thank you Girls Service League for being a part of the process. I will forever be grateful.

-Thalia, University of North Texas, Class of 2018

Since this foundation (GSL) has been such an aid to me over the past few years,

I wanted to let y’all know that, with your help I have been accepted into the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine program.  I will be attending classes as the CVM class of 2024! I could not be more excited for this opportunity or more grateful to this organization, which made this possible by supporting me financially in my undergraduate years!

-Emily, Texas A&M University, Class of 2020

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the Board of Directors of the Girls Service League

for making this scholarship possible. I am beyond thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor, and I am deeply appreciative of your support! Thank you so much again and I’ll finish school strong!
